As part of the sign up process, an email containing a link will be sent to the email address that you provide. If you do not receive an email from PIER, please check your SPAM and JUNK email folders.
Once you create a PIER account, you will be able to access the EATC content.
PIER advises using a personal email address to create a PIER account. You will use it to log in to your PIER account. It will also be the main way that PIER communicates with you.
PIER advises against the use of your professional (workplace) email address. This is so as to ensure your ongoing access to your PIER account. If your circumstances change and you leave your current employer, you will lose access to your workplace email address. If you forget your password, you will not be able to access your PIER account. To reset your password, instructions are sent to your PIER registered email address. If this is the email address of your former employer, you will not be able to access your PIER account.
Upon qualification, your PIER account will contain your QEAC certificate, QEAC badge, tax invoice, receipt, profile on the PIER network and so forth.
Do not a generic email address under any circumstances, such as for eg. firstname.lastname@example.org that can be accessed by other staff at your company.
Your PIER username email address is separate from the email address that you can use to advertise yourself as a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) and your agency in the PIER network. You can use a professional email address for this. Your PIER username will remain private.
